Frist Week of August at the earlies - if the minors win it will be put back, if they lose it will be put back, because,
theres a back door for the losing minor finalists.

It's a sad day for club football if the county minors affect the Senior club championship.

Alot of clubs depend on the minors, so would be very unfair to make them play without them - the fault for all this lies solely with the County Board, the championship should have kicked off back in March/April - no need for the Brefffni league, a waste of a competition - league and championship should be started early with all County players available to their clubs, this nonsense of playing one league game and waiting 6 weeks til the next is ridiculous amd makes no sense at all.

Deanmartin the fault lies with the clubs. They go to county convention each year with meaningless motions. Clubs elect the CB. Sort it at convention and there no need to blame minors. Clubs are in a bad way if county minors are the main men in a senior club side.

Dean martin
Alot of clubs depend on the minors, what clubs ??? of the starting minor team Laragh, cavan gaels crosserlough lacken gowna killygarry ballyhaise all have large numbers, only club that may DEPEND on minor is templeport or Denn and i think both them lad are only 17

The fault for all this lies solely with the County Board, the championship should have kicked off back in March/April.. the success of the county minor lies with the county, well done county board!!! Fixtures championship in march/ April not answer and team are out of championship at this stage what would mood in a club be like???

The club senior championship should be reduced number of teams 17 is crazy

play the first round of championship with out county minor, play of junior champioship

In fairness the club senior championship should only consist of 6 clubs,8 max.Gaels,Kingscourt,Ballinagh,Mullahoran,Ramor,Castlerahan.none of the others have a hope of winning it.lets face facts.Drumalee are senior championship and they are bottom of Div 2.two divisions below all the above i have mentioned.

The Gaels poor league form play carry through to the championship? Kingscourt championship to lose? Will castlerahen or Ramor be able to step up and win a championship that has been coming for years??? Mullahorn dark horses? Im looking forward to this championship lads!!!!!!! Championship season is hard bet.

I agree, too many teams in senior championship. Bring it down to 12 or 10 maybe. 17 way too many. I wouldn't worry about league form. Ramor & castlerahan definitely going well & will want to improve on last year. Ballinagh, Mullahorn, Gaels & kingscourt will be there abouts you would imagine. Lavey can be good on their day. Any players gone for the summer to US ?

Be interesting gaelsutd what Killygarry will have to say about the senior title over the next four or five years a club with ambition. I agree like most there are too many clubs at senior level but I am sure this will be addressed in time.
