Dublin defender Emma O’Byrne says the county’s camogie side are awaiting the all-clear before returning to collective training.

Last week saw three members of the panel test positive for Covid-19, forcing players to train individual in their preparations for this year’s championship.

Speaking at the AIG launch of Dublin's 2020 season, O’Byrne said she was unsure on when the Dubs would be able to return to collective training.

"We're waiting for the all-clear for everyone. We’re kind of doing our own bit now until we’re all good," she said.

"We're all taking precautions… keep the numbers low, keeping our distance.

"Really we don’t know what will happen realistically, with the numbers going up every day, but I think we’re just focused on the first day of the championship and just keeping safe until then.

"Basically, a case emerged and we all got tested if we were a close contact or a casual contact, it just depends on your circumstance."
