Full back Padraig O'Hora is facing a race against time to be fit for Mayo's All-Ireland SFC semi-final against either Dublin or Kildare on August 14/15.

It's after the Ballina Stephenites clubman suffered a rib injury during the second half of yesterday's Connacht final win over Galway at Croke Park. 'Swanny' was treated on the pitch for several minutes before being replaced by Rory Brickenden.

Meanwhile, the GAA are expected to investigate the scuffle which broke out at half-time as the Mayo and Galway players made their way down the tunnel.

Tempers flared after a niggly first half ended with Galway holding a 2-5 to 0-6 lead. However, James Horan's men fought back after the restart to prevail on a 2-14 to 2-8 scoreline.
