Canning hails record breaking brother Joe

Ollie Canning has hailed his brother Joe's “unbelievable achievement” in becoming the highest scorer in hurling championship history.
A 0-9 return for the 2017 Hurler of the Year yesterday saw him overtake Kilkenny's Henry Shefflin at the top of the All-Ireland SHC scoring charts.
The milestone will likely be of little consolation to the 32-year-old as Galway fell to a disappointing 1-30 to 3-20 qualifier defeat at the hands of Waterford.
"It's an unbelievable achievement," Ollie said when speaking as a Sky Sports pundit after the game.
"Joe was not tapping that over, he was trying to find the top of the net there.
"For me, he is the ultimate team player. He had a chance from a free earlier, he hit it short to Evan Niland for a score. He could have taken that on himself."
The four-time All-Star added: "He's been an absolute legend of a player in the game. The ultimate team player, for me. The ultimate finisher. I'm not sure how long he's got left. But a great, great player. We see a few of them players in our lifetime, and he's up there with the best."
