Middletown complete hat-trick of Armagh SHC titles

Middletown Na Fianna retain the Jimmy Carlisle Cup.
Middletown Na Fianna beat Keady Lamh Dhearg 2-20 to 2-12 to secure a hat-trick of Armagh SHC titles at the Athletic Grounds today.
After Fionntan Donnelly's goal via the penalty spot had Keady 0-7 to 1-8 in front at the interval. Middletown assumed control of the game in the second-half when outscoring their opponents by 1-10 to 0-4 between the 33rd and 57th minutes.
Keady soon got back into contention with a second goal but the holders quickly replied in kind at the other end as they maintained their strangehold on the Jimmy Carlisle Cup.
