Vie no axe to grind if it was the other way round Id call it , Galway were massively outnumbered unless they came wearing Yellow

But that is not the point. The point is that they knew every Wexford and Galway man and woman (bar concessions) was a cash cow to be milked for 35 euro. If the Leinster football final was 35 quid minimum entry it would not have 30k at it let alone 60k Pinkie (Wexford) - Posts: 4100 - 03/07/2017 14:08:28 2009638 Link 0 |
There was easily 20,000 children on €5 tickets in Croke Park yesterday. I think your getting a bit excited to be honest. hurlorhurley (Wexford) - Posts: 1660 - 03/07/2017 14:58:38 2009679 Link 0 |
his point is perfectly valid, there was absolutely no reason why the hill wasnt opened and give people the option of seeing the match for 15-20 quid. perfect10 (Wexford) - Posts: 3929 - 03/07/2017 15:07:48 2009691 Link 0 |
There was a perfectly valid reason for not having the Hill open there is a concert there six days later and to accomadate the venue being ready pre work like removing barriers on Hill 16 had to be carried out. Hence Hill 16 was not open end of story.

you obviously never worked in construction, those yokes have 2-4 bolts, and a team would remove them in no time. in unrelated news, can somebody from galway tell me are conor cooney and joe cooney related?i know joe is a son of joe's. perfect10 (Wexford) - Posts: 3929 - 03/07/2017 15:34:06 2009717 Link 0 |

If stage assembly was to start on Monday morning which it was then prep work had to be done beforehand. Could it have been done at 7pm last night? hurlorhurley (Wexford) - Posts: 1660 - 03/07/2017 15:52:37 2009735 Link 0 |
true, Clare could win Munster but I back Cork to push on and are my favorite (not the media) to be in Final. Also, they have a 6-0 record against Galway in Finals. Not getting ahead of myself anyway as the semi will be a massive battle and I hope Galway can improve for it.

Dublin also are playing a terrible brand of hurling at the moment. Dublin don't have to be perfect for me to be able to criticize Wexford.

Im very aware of where they are both from. i just though most people from outside Galway would be more familiar with Sarsfields as opposed to if I said Bullaun/New Inn. Same for St Thomas'

I was at the game too Damo, Galway were definetly outnumbered but still has decent support there. 2 to 1 in favour of WX in my opinion.
