Galway vs Wexford (hurling)

Replying To Pinkie:  "Sure everybody knows the Galway hurlers love the Galway races, and being out of the championship by the time they come around.
And the annual maritime festival is on this weekend in the city, sure they don't want imposters like Bob O'Keefe in town Sunday night!
:)"
Forget about O' Keefe and put a few Bob on Galway! ;)

Replying To tiobraid:  "You could proved to be right but it's very early to make an accurate view on how good Galway are. Tipp have been proven to be poor since and Dublin are in transition. Galway are deserving All Ireland favourites but we will know more Sunday evening. The hype and expectation around Galway is bordering on ridiculous levels the past month. I'm convinced this team will buckle under the pressure eventually, especially if they win on Sunday. If they do they'll lose the All Ireland semi - no question!"
Your analysis is completely understandable given our results. However, Galway need to focus on the Leinster Final now, you know how passionate we are about our province. Hope we meet Tipp later on. Gaillimh Abu

If there is hype about Galway it must be in Tipperary as there is very little talk about them in Galway itself. Galway have been in a few All-Ireland finals in recent years so a Leinster final is not a major deal for them by itself. The only team in the papers this week has been Wexford.

If Galway bring the same form they've been showing since the league final they should have too much for Wexford, they've been absolutely flying. Wexford should definitely be able to compete in terms of energy and fitness, they ran Kilkenny off the park in both the league QF and leinster sf, so I'm expecting a good contest, but I'm not convinced about the Wexford fb line, it may prove their undoing tomorrow.

First real test for Galway and they don't know too much about Wexford so this could be a tricky affair for them. Stranger things have happened !

Really looking forward to this game tomorrow!

One point I have to make is that with Galway been favourites to win tomorrow there has been very little talk about them both inside and outside of the county in the lead up to this game which is ideal preparation for them leading into this game.

It's been all Wexford in the media and I'm sure the hype in Wexford is reaching fever pitch which is fantastic to see and I just wonder how much energy and focus that will take out of them considering their inexperience of both playing in Croke Park and playing in front of such a large crowd, it will interesting to see how they manage that.

Obviously I'm hoping for a Galway victory tomorrow but I would certainly not begrudge the yellowbellies victory tomorrow as they've been a revelation this year under Davy and I for one am delighted to see them on a crest of a wave this year and may the best team win!

yes Wexford and Davy Fitz are the media favorites for sure, I think they are underestimating Galway, bring it on

If Wexford apply themselves in the same way they did against Kilkenny i would give them a great chance. Galway are i fine team with lots of experience but it will be all on the day so i'll go for a draw.

Yes and that's one of the plus things for us. We are forewarned. There is no excuse for underestimating the challenge that we face. I reckon it will be a tight game but I'm hopeful we'll come out on top.

Heading out to the game now. Best of luck to both sides and cheers for a good discussion about the match here. Yes there's been slagging, but it's all been taken in the right way & there seems to be a lot of healthy respect from and for both counties. The way it should be. May the best team win.

Wexford are no better than Offaly , Galway are just a class outfit. Nearly 30 scores again , seem to be in 2 nd gear all through Leinster. Under no pressure there today , congrats to Galway . Two Cooneys blew Wexford away
