Prince Harry to live Croke Park dream

July 10, 2018

Prince Harry

Wednesday is set to be a massive day for English sport as Prince Harry will make his Croke Park debut.

The all-action British Royal and his wife Meghan are flying into Dublin Airport today for a whistle-stop tour of Ireland.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will meet the Taoiseach, the President and the British Ambassador to Ireland as well as checking out the Book of Kells in Trinity College and the Famine Memorial in Custom House Quay.

But sports enthusiast Harry is most looking forward to his maiden visit to GAA HQ tomorrow, where it is understood that he'll try his hand at both football and hurling. Whether he'll be good enough to follow in the footsteps of King Henry - who his father Charles met in Kilkenny last year - remains to be seen...
