Tipperary U20 captain Craig Morgan raises the JJ Kenneally Perpetual Memorial Cup

Tipperary under-20 captain Craig Morgan is in no doubt that Wexford will be eager to bounce back from their Leinster final defeat when the sides meet in the All-Ireland hurling semi-final this weekend.

Tipp go into the match at Nowlan Park on Sunday (1.45pm) as favourites having defeated Cork in an enthralling Munster final last week.

Wexford lost out on provincial honours to a strong Kilkenny side that was minus the services of star forward Adrian Mullen.

Speaking to the Tipperary Star, Morgan stated that they have their celebrations out of the way and are fully focused on what should be a tough challenge.

“We enjoyed winning the Munster final, but now we are going again. We know what’s coming ahead of us,” said Morgan.

“Wexford are a good team – they gave it to a strong Kilkenny side so they are coming with a vengeance; they will want to win this as well.

“It’s wide open for any of the four teams. It’s a new championship. We need to restart now and go again.”
