The greatest GAA comeback of all-time may have been witnessed in Clonad, Co. Laois today where a school team came from 26 points down at half-time to win by four.
With little or no wind blowing, Coláiste Choilm, Tullamore built up a huge 5-11 to 0-0 lead in the first half of their Leinster Post Primary Schools First Year 'B' football semi-final against Enniscorthy CBS.
But inspired by Ben Astel and James Murray, the Wexford boys produced a Lazarus-like recovery after the restart to win on a 11-1 to 6-12 scoreline and qualify for the Leinster final against Asbourne CS.
TweetCongrats to @CBS_Enniscorthy 1st year Footballers who have surely broken a record... 5-11 to 0-0 down at HT in Leinster Semi Final and scored 11 goals in 2nd half to win 11-1 to 6-12 to go into the Leinster Final v Ashbourne . 🏐👏🏻 @GAA__JOE @ballsdotie @OfficialWexGAA
