Wexford’s footballers have recruited former Louth manager Colin Kelly ahead of their Leinster SFC clash with his native county.

The Dundalk Democrat is reporting that Kelly has come to an arrangement with Model County boss Paul McLoughlin that will see him take two training sessions per week as they turn their attention to the championship.

The Yellowbellies are scheduled to host the Wee County in a Leinster SFC preliminary round clash on May 12th.

The winners will advance to a quarter-final clash with Dublin.

Kelly, who was in charge of Westmeath last year, is also currently managing St Kevin’s in Louth.
