Chin prepared for "tough test" in Mullingar

Wexford ace Lee Chin says this Saturday's clash against Westmeath is one they'll be "treating with the utmost respect".

Davy Fitzgerald's team are set to enter the All-Ireland SHC preliminary quarter-final in Mullingar as 1/40 favourites but Chin says they know they'll be coming up against a side with nothing to lose.

"I haven't seen a whole lot of them, because not many of the Joe McDonagh games were televised. We were probably out the same weekends as well when we were hurling," Chin told RTE Sport.

"Obviously we know they are going to be a good force, we played them in 2015, where they gave us a serious game up in Mullingar, and the game is going to be there this week.

"We know it's going to be a tough test, and one we're treating with the utmost respect. It's something we're really looking forward to getting back into championship action as well. They're going to get a packed stadium full of their own fans. It's probably a game they're looking towards - they've nothing really to lose, the fact that they were beaten last weekend.

"They're going to come into this game with an attitude, and they're going to really look to progress into an All-Ireland series."
