Three provincial championship games will go up directly against the Champions League final on Saturday evening.

The involvement of Liverpool - who have a huge Irish fan base - in the Kiev decider against Real Madrid at 7.45pm is set to significantly impact on attendances at the three GAA games in question. Throwing in at 7pm are the Leinster SHC round-robin meeting of Offaly and Wexford in Tullamore, the Munster SFC semi-final between Tipperary and Cork in Thurles and the Ulster SFC quarter-final between Down and Antrim in Newry.

The Connacht SFC semi-final between Leitrim and Roscommon in Carrick-on-Shannon and the Leinster SFC quarter-final between Westmeath and Laois in Tullamore will throw in at 5.30pm and 5pm respectively, which will allow supporters of those teams to see all of the soccer match as well, unless the games go to extra-time.
