Junior Football Update

We play our first competitive game of 2020 this coming Sunday, 23rd February, away to Garrycastle in the league. Throw in is at 11:30am. We wish the players and our new management team the very best of luck in the league campaign. The draws for the 2020 championships took place last week and we play Delvin in the opening round. Provisional dates for each round are: Round 1 vs Delvin 18/19th April, Round 2 vs Athlone 11/12thJuly, Round 3 vs Loughnavalley 1/2nd August, Round 4 vs St. Lomans 15/16th August and Round 5 vs Garrycastle 22/23rd August. 

 

Lilliput Gaels Registration Evening

With underage games due to commence shortly, it is important that all underage players are registered for the 2020 season. There is a registration evening for juvenile players of both Lilliput Gaels football and Castletown Geoghegan hurling clubs this coming Friday, 21st February between 7-8pm in Castletown Geoghegan clubhouse. Please try to complete registration on this evening.

 

National Club Draw

Closing date for ticket sales is fast approaching. All of our players and committee members currently have tickets for sale. There is a huge range of prizes on offer. Tickets cost just €10 and all proceeds go to our club. We encourage everyone in the area to get involved and support so if you haven't already been asked then please enquire of any player or committee member.

 

Club Development

As we enter the final four weeks of fundraising, we have reach over 80% of our target so our thanks to everyone who has supported our cause so far. Closing date for entry is St. Patrick's day. We've had a great response so far with club members, past and present and from all corners of the globe contributing to help us develop our facilities for our adult and underage footballers. If you would like to be part of our development, then please contact Mark King, Paul Seery, Sean Delaney or any club member. Work is due to kick off in earnest in the coming weeks, when the storm season abates!

 

Club Lotto

This weeks winning Lotto numbers are 4, 5, 14 and 30. No match 3 winners this week. Next weeks new jackpot is €1700. If you want to be in with the chance to win the jackpot, contact Martin McCann or Sean Delaney who can sign you up to play each week for just €2.

 

Club Membership

Membership for 2020 is now due. Rates are unchanged from last year with options available to suit individuals and families for gym, full and social membership.

 

Walking Track - Operation Transformation

Don't forget that our lights are on every Tuesday and Friday night between now and the end of the programme towards the end of this month. Just turn up and bring your friends between 7pm and 9.30pm!
