Its finally over and what a wonderful day again with a great crowd and plenty of buyers for all the wonderful bits and pieces on offer.. whether you paid hundreds for a 3piece suite or fiver for a dog blanket, THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND GENEROSITY. Huge thanks again and as always to our amazing trio of auctioneers Francis Declan and Seamus - always guaranteed to get value for your money.

Thanks to everyone on committee and from club who worked so hard all year organising collections, and this month especially everyone who had every thing done to such high standard - the big clean, then setting up and of course our outstanding sales crew , to everyone who worked the stalls, to everyone working the office, our wonderful women who fed body and soul in the tea room, our traffic control and parking attendants, our hi vis security teams, our generous sponsors and donations, and everyone else too many to name here. You know who you are.  GO RAIBH MÌLE MAITH AGAIBH. A MILLION THANKS to one and all.

Draw Bank Holiday Monday October 29th Lucky Numbers drawn were 10 14 19 28.  No Winner.  Congrats to Match Three ticket Aine Doyle Castledaly and Promoters prize winndr Ciaran Henson.  Next Jackpot is 3,600 euro and draw takes place as usual in Fitzgerald’s Lounge . All Welcome.

Castledaly Fit Club continues each week Monday Wednesday Friday with ladies classes at 7  and gents at 8pm under the expert guidance of Liam Lorcan and Paulette.

 

The Walking Track lights are on from 8 to late for club members who are looking for safe environment for their daily walk at this darker evenings time of year.  It is always great to see people making use of this wonderful facility, often followed by quality time at the playground with our smallest stars.

 

Condolences to family and friends of Kathleen Mullins - Daly (nee Clarke),  Castledaly, Moate, Co. Westmeath and formally of Rosemount, Moate, Co. Westmeath who passed away this week.  May they rest in peace.
