The club are delighted to announce that our senior team will be taking part in the Annual Paidi O'Shea Tournament in Dingle on the 17th and 18th of February this year. Teams from all the country will take part , with qualifying games on the Saturdayand the finals on Sunday. All supporters are more than welcome to attend. Each person is responsible for looking after there own transport and accommodation for the weekend. If there is anyone with any queries , please send a message to the Gaa Facebook page, or get in touch with any committee member. It promises to be a very enjoyable weekend away in a lovely part of the country, so please spread the word to any who may be interested. There is also a Message from the social initiative regarding the Tournament with anyone interested in traveling to Dingle with them, there is a B&B. available for €45.00pps in Ballyroe Heights Hotel, Tralee (approx. 1hour away).  Transport mode depending on numbers. Family membership - €100.00. Membership can be paid to any committee member, or paid one line by card by registering on myclubfinances.com, or downloading the app.

 

O'Byrne Cup Semi Final: Westmeath 1-09 / Offaly 1-07. Well done to Eoin, Boidu and the Westmeath Senior Footballers who will now play in the O'Byrne Cup final after a hard fought win over Offaly last Sunday in TEG Cusack Park.

CPR/Defibrillator refresher course (for those already trained) has been organised in the community centre for Thursday 18th January between 7pm and 9pm. The refresher course will take 10 minutes and anyone interested can arrive and receive the training at any time between 7pm and 9pm.

 

Free talk on Mental Health in the Grand Hotel Moate on Thursday the 18th of January at 8pm. There will be a discussion / presentation on areas such Depression,  Anxiety and Panic Attacks, including guest speakers. All are welcome.

 

Walking track - Walking track lights are on from 7.00pm until 10.00pm Monday's to Friday's, and 6.30pm until 8.30pm Saturday's & Sunday's. Only those with membership paid are permitted and insured to use the walking track.
