The Nire defender Thomas O’Gorman believes that they will be hard stopped in the Munster club SFC.

The Waterford champions head into the provincial campaign on the back of a county final win over Kilrossanty last weekend.

They face Limerick champions Adare in the opening round and The Nire are away from home as they travel to the Gaelic Grounds on Sunday.

O’Gorman picked up his fifth county medal last weekend and he told the Waterford News & Star that the side wasn’t done yet.

“With this group of players, we put so much into this competition that we are not going to stop now,” insisted the county footballer.

“It will take a good team to stop us. We will push it to the end and give it our all for as long as we can.”
