Mayo boss James Horan has included three debutants in his side to face New York in Sunday’s Connacht SFC quarter-final at Gaelic Park.

James McCormack, Matthew Ruane and James Carr all make their championship bows for the Westerners with Horan making two changes from the Division 1 final victory over Kerry at the end of March.

Claremorris clubman McCormack comes in at left half-back and Evan Regan is named at no 10, with Donal Vaughan and injured skipper Diarmuid O'Connor the players to miss out.

The winners in the Bronx this weekend will face either Roscommon or Leitrim on May 25th.

Throw-in is at 2.15pm local time (7.15pm Irish time).

Mayo (Connacht SFC v New York): Rob Hennelly; Chris Barrett, Brendan Harrison, Keith Higgins; Patrick Durcan, Lee Keegan, James McCormack; Matthew Ruane, Aidan O’Shea; Evan Regan, Jason Doherty, Fergal Boland; Kevin McLoughlin, Darren Coen, James Carr
