The Sean Treacy’s hurling club celebrates its 60th anniversary this year.
Sean Treacy’s have won the London senior hurling championship on five occasions down through the years, the last of which came in 2002.
The club would love nothing more to add a ninth title in this anniversary year and they had a good win over Cu Chulainns in round 3 of the SHC last weekend.
This year already has saw the club reach the Ryan Cup final where they were beaten by St Gabriel’s, while they are also in the Collins Cup final.
When initially formed, the club had strong Limerick connections as the first chairman, secretary and treasurer were all Shannonsiders.
