There were wins for Longford, Warwickshire and Donegal in the Nicky Rackard Cup today.

Longford finished with seven points to spare over Louth (0-19 to 0-12) in Glennon Bros Pearse Park.

The hosts enjoyed a 0-13 to 0-4 interval lead and the Wee County's task was made all the more difficult after David Kettle received his marching orders early in the second-half.

Joe O'Brien top scored for Colum O'Meara's side with nine points.

Tony Joyce's Warwickshire made it two wins from as many outings when getting the better of Monaghan in Pairc na hEireann.

The scoreboard read Warwickshire 1-21, Monaghan 3-11 at the end of the 70 minutes.

Donegal, meanwhile, proved too strong for Leitrim when running out 2-28 to 2-8 winners in Letterkenny.
