Adult Men;
On Sunday our Senior men picked up their first win of the season defeating Clogher 2-14 to 2-10, Sigersons got off to the worst possible start with the away side scoring 2 goals in the opening 5 minutes. Sigersons responded well and went in at the break 2-4 to 0-8 down and very disappointed not to be leading having missed some good chances.
In the second half Clogher maintained a game of two or three points until Dylan Arnold struck the net on the 11th minute of the half, just two minutes later Sigersons got a second goal via Warner Mullen who finished with an impressive personal tally of 1-7. Sigersons seen the game out thanks to crucial scores from Warner and Danny McBride

It was also a first a first victory of the season for the Reserves on Sunday over Clogher, the final score was 3-17 to 2-9. A fantastic team performance throughout the game, the opening seven minutes seen Strabane race into a 2-3 to 0-0 lead thanks to goals from Oran McGrath and Conor Dolan. Clogher rallied and were within three points at the interval.
Sigersons came out a lot stronger in the second half and Clogher struggled to cope, Brendy McLaughlin and Aaron Brennan were causing a lot of bother as was Oran McGrath in midfield. The Sigersons defence were also excellent with Oran McShane the stand out figure. Sigersons got their final goal via second half sub Shane Tinney who also added a point shortly after.

This Friday night the seniors and reserve travel to Aghyaran for Round 4 of the league, Reserve throw in is 6.30pm with the Senior game at 8pm.

Senior Ladies;
The senior girls topped of a great weekend for our Adult teams on Monday night with 4-6 to 2-9 win over Beragh in the Junior League, Crystal Crossan and Michella Moss got two goals each for Strabane on a night where it was a strong team performance that landed the victory.
Sigersons Ladies will travel to Clann na nGael on Saturday night with throw in at 7.30pm.

Congratulations;
After making his debut v Brackaville in the Junior League in 1991, club stalwart Brendan McLaughlin on Sunday lined out for the clubs reserve team.
He scored 0-3. A brilliant servant like many other Sigersons gaels, he has now played in 4 different decades (90's, 00's 10's, 20's)
Youth;
The minor boys were defeated 3-7 to 0-7 by Omagh last Thursday night in Páirc Mhíc Sioghair.
The under 14 boys were defeated on Saturday morning by Loughmacrory on a score-line of 8-11 to 7-7.
Summer Camps;
We want to ensure that all youth from P1 to Year 11 get the opportunity to practice, participate and perform the skills they learn at the club.
So we aren't having 1 camp, we're having 2!
Week 1 (10 August) is virtual. Parents will download an App and training will be posted to practice. 1 session on 3 days is the requirement.
Week 2, at the club (17 August), will include a review of week 1 for those enrolled on both camps.
Those participating in both camps will have the incentive of discount as well as a reward from the club.
