Last weeks lotto numbers were 7, 12, 14 and 24. There were no jackpot winners. Kevin Devlin won the consolation prize. Next weeks jackpot is £4875. 

 

The club held their Annual Dinner Dance on Saturday night in the Community Centre. There was a great crowd in attendance celebrating our successes from last year. Guests of honour on the night were our winning Minor Boys Championship team. The following awards were given out:

Minor Girls Most Improved: Caoimhe Cullen

 

Club Person of the Year: Kieran Hughes

 

Want to get fit over the winter months? The lights on the field will be on every Tuesday and Thursday evening for anyone who would like to walk around the outside of the pitch.

 

Dates for the diary. 

There will be a final registration evening this Tuesday in the club from 730-830. This is an opportunity for all members and playing members to get registered for the year ahead. Any new members are welcome.

 

Crosóga Bhríde St. Brigid Crosses.

We will be having our Annual St. Brigid's crossmaking on Thursday 30th January at 7pm in the Dernagh Suite. Come along and keep alive the old tradition of crossmaking. Traditional music and light refreshments provided. Bígí linn.

 

On Saturday 1st February, Briana Quinn and Feargal McKeever, two of our youth players who attend St. Joseph's Donaghmore, will be hosting a coffee morning in the Community Centre from 10am-1pm. All donations will be going towards Habitat for Humanity to help build homes for those living under the poverty line in Cambodia. There will be a raffle on the day with numerous prizes. Briana and Feargal will travel to Cambodia later in the year to help build these homes. Everyone is welcome to drop in for a cup of coffee to support their efforts. 

 

The next Winter Quiz will be on 28th February at 9pm in the Bar.

 

Mass for deceased members of Clonoe O'Rahilly's will be in Clonoe Chapel on Sunday 1st March at 12pm. 

 

Come Dine with Me will be on Saturday 14th March. This is a great fundraiser in our Club calendar with entertainment in the Lounge after the meal. Anyone looking to host should contact Darren on 07808367342, Adrian on 07860151787 or Stephen on 07879841176.

 

The Winter programmes continue for all our youth. On Friday evening, the u6 Boys and Girls are in the Sports Hall from 6-7pm.  The u12 and u14 Girls have their pre season training at Brackaville 4G pitch on Friday evening from 6-7pm. If there are any changes due to the weather, this will be communicated through WhatsApp groups.  On Saturday morning the u8 Boys are in the Sports Hall from 10-11am. The u10 Boys are in the Sports Hall from 11-12noon and the u8 and u10 Girls are in the Sports Hall from 12-1pm. Any new members are welcome to come along to these sessions.

Clonoe O'Rahilly's were saddened to learn of the passing of Mary Herron. Mary was a long serving member of the club and wife to club stalwart Hugh RIP. We offer our condolences to her daughter Margaret Rose, son in law Malachy, grand children and wider family circle. May she rest in peace. Sympathy is also extended to the Bigley Family, formerly of Annaghaboe on the death of Sean and the Donnelly Family, Killyman on the death of John who was well known throughout the local area. May they rest in peace.
