Urney St. Columba's - Club Notes

ADULT (Daoine Fásta):
The senior team made their last away trip of the league campaign on Saturday evening. Urney faced Greencastle but unfortunately the result did not go our way. Final score Greencastle 1-18 Urney 2-10.
Next up is a home game against Clogher, scheduled for Sunday 27th October.
YOUTH (An tAos Óg):
Urney under 16 girls continued their winning ways, beating Rock in the quarter final of the championship. Final score Urney 3-7 Rock 3-6. Speedy recovery to Morgan McConomy who picked up an injury in the game. Next up for the young ladies is a semi final with Strabane. The game is scheduled for this Sunday 20th October in Newtonstewart, throw in is 11am. Please come along and support the team and management.
Under 13 training continues on Thursday evening and Sunday mornings. Keep an eye on Facebook for fixture details.
CONGRATULATIONS (comhghairdeas):
Well done to Hollie Semple, who represented the club on Sunday when she took part in the mini games match before the county final. Hollie was selected during the summer camp in July.
Congratulations to Mae Langan who made it through to the next stage in the Tyrone U14 trials. Best of luck at the next stage of trials Mae.
Well done to club referee Micky Kelly who was linesman in the U21 final on Sunday in Healy Park.
Local resident Cathal McCrory was on the line as well.
