Last week lotto numbers were 2, 11, 14 and 20. There were no jackpot winners. Three people matched three numbers: Rosaleen Taggart, Drummurrer B Hilley , Moorlands and Elaine Dillon, Canal Quay. Next week’s jackpot is £4025.
The Club 100 draw for August took place on Friday evening. Martin Hughes won £500 while Seamie Lynch and Shaun Taggart won £100 each.
On Monday evening, the u16 boys hosted Coalisland Fianna in the u16 League and despite a gallant effort ran out on the wrong side of the result. On Tuesday the u16 girls hosted Cookstown and after a very exciting hour of football, the girls continued their unbeaten league record, running out winners on a score line of 4-6 to 4-3. On Thursday evening, the u16 boys travelled to Errigal Ciaran but again fell short on the night. On Saturday, with three games this week, the u16 boys put in a super performance against Moy running out winners on a score line of 1-11 to 0-10.
It's a big weekend for our Senior teams as they play in the Championship. On Saturday afternoon, the Senior girls play Trillick in the semi final of the Championship at 230 with a venue to be confirmed. Our Senior Men play in the first round of the Championship on Saturday evening against Moy at 615 in Pomeroy. This Tuesday our u16 girls play Castlederg at home with throw in at 645. On Wednesday evening our u12s continue their Go Games when they travel to Edendork for 7. On Thursday evening our u16 girls travel to Fintona for throw in at 730. On Saturday morning our u16 boys make the short journey to Annagher for their league match against Coalisland at 11.
This Wednesday 4th September from 10-12, in conjunction with Libraries NI Digital Literacy Project, there is a free iPad/iPhone/Tablet workshop in the Community Centre focusing on Organising your Life Online. On Wednesday 11th September, there will be 1-2-1 eClinics from 10-4. On Wednesday 18th September, there will be another workshop from 10-12 focusing on How to avoid scams and keep yourself safe online. After the success of the last walking programme, Mid Ulster Council are running another free walking programme for 8 weeks starting on Wednesday 11th September from 10-1130am, meeting at the Community Centre. This is open to everyone in the local community, feel free to come along and join the walkers.
