The Senior men defeated Doire Trasna on Sunday in the Ulster Intermediate league on a score line of 2-9 to 1-11, David Taylor and Warner Mullen got the Strabane goals.

Night at the Races;

Sigersons social club will be hosting a night at the races on Saturday 2nd March in aid of Ward 6 & 16 in Altnagelvin Hospital, we would encourage all members to buy a horse which are priced at £10 each. To sponsor a race is £30, if you would like to sponsor please contact any committee member or the club Facebook page.

 

Youth Football;

Sigersons ‘Have a Ball’ programme is back on each Tuesday night in Melvin Sports Complex, P1 & P2 from 6.15pm to 7pm, P3 & P4 from 7.15pm to 8pm. £2 Per Session, any coaches available are asked to be down for 6pm.

 

Minor Boys Training for 2019 has started, training will take place in Peak Performance on Monday’s from 9-10pm, Wednesdays in Sigersons at 7pm.

 

Training for the under 14 girls has commenced for the 2019 season, training takes place every Saturday at 3pm. All past, current and new players are encouraged to attend.

 

Under 12 & Under 14 boys training has also commenced, it takes place in Melvin sports complex on the 3g pitch on a Monday night from 8-9pm.

 

Membership;

Club Membership for 2019 is now open and all members are urged to join as soon as possible. Due to GDPR all members need to complete a membership form that has been issued from Croke Park. These forms are available from the social club or from youth team managers.

Health & Wellbeing;

On Monday 18th February in Ballycolman Community Centre there will be a MindFit Programme taking place from 7pm-8.30pm. MindFit is a mental health awareness workshop developed by AWARE in conjunction with Ulster GAA which aims to promote resilience and emotional intelligence in young people aged from 14 – 18 years of age.
