The convention highlighted the costs of the daily running of the club as well as the importance of fundraising in moving forward to 2019. The club are calling on all members to get involved whether that is buying a lotto, committing to Club Clonoe or approaching any committee member to help with fundraising. No matter how small, every donation will help. The new committee will be looking at future fundraising ideas for the next year.
With over 12 youth teams for both boys and girls, any person interested in helping with any of our youth teams please contact any committee member.
Next Sunday will be a big occasion in the club as we cheer on the Coney family in their quest to be Ireland's Fittest Family. The show will be broadcast live in the lounge from 6:30 where Colette, Shane, Gary and Paul will be special guests on the night. Everyone is welcome to come along and cheer our local heroes.
The club would like to offer its sympathy to the McAliskey family on the death of Maureen, a former ladies committee member who was actively involved in the life of the club and who is mother of former player Sean and grandmother of former senior player Ryan and current senior players Connor, Claire and Lisa. May she Rest in Peace.
