Eoghan Ruadh, Dungannon 1-15
Eire Og, Carrickmore 2-10
County star Damian Casey hit 1-9 as Eoghan Ruadh stopped Eire Og's bid for a five-in-a-row of Benburb Cups in Healy Park yesterday.
Points from Branan Molloy and Lorcan Devlin got the winners off to a solid start before the holders hit back with an Aidy Kelly goal and and a Liam Armstrong point to go three clear. The 'drive for five' looked to be well on course when the Carrickmore men went on to lead by 1-8 to 0-6 at the break.
But with Casey on song, Dungannon had regained parity by the end of the third quarter before the star man secured their first Tyrone SHC title since 2013 when converting a last-minute penalty he had won himself.
