Sean Cavanagh's autobiography 'The Obsession' is coming soon.
Sean Cavanagh is the latest GAA personality to pen an autobiography.
The Tyrone legend brought the curtain down on his glittering 16-year inter-county career last year and will release 'The Obsession' on September 6, with Eason already taking pre-orders.
Cavanagh promises to reveal all in the autobiography, the blurb for which reads: "Sean Cavanagh is one of the greatest Gaelic footballers of all time. A three-time All-Ireland winner and five-time All Star, he was crowned Footballer of the Year in 2008 and captained Ireland in the International Rules series.
"In 2009 it was widely reported that his 'roof caved in' before the All Ireland semi-final against Cork. He relishes the opportunity to tell his side of the story now. He details his relationship with manager Mickey Harte, and their bond over a 16-year-period. He tells of scurrilous rumours surrounding his private life and how news journalists hounded his family during his career."
