There will be a re-run of last year's Connacht SFC final next weekend after Roscommon and Galway defeated Mayo and Leitrim respectively to qualify for the Connacht FBD League final.

The Rossies overcame the sending off of Ian Kilbride at Dr Hyde Park to reach their fourth final in-a-row by overcoming a severely weakened Mayo by 0-14 to 0-11. A Diarmuid Murtagh free on the stroke of half-time gave Kevin McStay's charges a 0-8 to 0-7 lead at the short whistle before Mayo resumed with unanswered points from Fionn McDonagh and Conor O'Shea to take the lead after 39 minutes.

But six of the next eight points came from Roscommon - three from Diarmuid Murtagh and one each from Enda Smith, Conor Daly and Ciarain Murtagh - as they beat Mayo in 'The Hyde' for the first time since 2001.

In the other fourth round tie at Clonbur, two goals from Dessie Conneely and another from Frank Burke (penalty) helped Galway to a 3-6 to 0-8 victory over Leitrim.
