St Finbarr's and Carrigtwohill are the first two teams through to the Cork SHC semi-finals.

In yesterday's quarter-final double-header at Pairc Ui Rinn, the Barr's qualified for their first semi-final since 2009 thanks to a narrow 0-15 to 0-14 victory over local rivals Bishopstown. Eoin Finn top-scored with 0-7 for the Togher outfit who will meet either champions Imokilly or Sarsfields for a place in the decider.

James Mulcahy scored three goals as Carrigtwohill overcame Ballyhea by 3-17 to 2-16 in the other quarter-final. A Pa O'Callaghan goal helped Ballyhea to a 1-9 to 0-11 interval lead, but Mulcahy fired a second half hat-trick as Carrig set up a semi-final meeting with either Newtownshandrum or Glen Rovers.
