Clare hurlers have quite a few injury concerns ahead of their NHL quarterfinal clash against Waterford at Walsh Park on Saturday.

The sides meet in a dress rehearsal for their Munster SHC encounter on May 12 and for one of the sides, it will be a last competitive game before then.

Clare go into tomorrow’s game with injury concerns over Oisin O’Brien, John Conlon, Podge Collins and the Galvin brothers Colm and Ian.

Speaking to the Clare Champion, joint-manager Donal Moloney admits that they are unsure of who will be fit enough to play.

“We have a good few lads out of action since the Limerick game, so it will be late in the week when we assess how they are ahead of the game against Waterford,” said Moloney.

“John Conlon is still out, but we now have injuries too to Colm Gavin, Oisin O’Brien, Podge Collins and Ian Galvin, so we have to contend with that now.”
