UCC made it two wins from as many outings at the expense of UCD at the Mardyke today.
The Cork college followed up last Sunday’s opening round win over holders UL with a 2-21 to 1-13 success over their Dublin counterparts.
The first-half finished with the hosts 0-11 to 0-6 to the good.
Second-half goals from Mark Kehoe and substitute Neil Montgomery were central to their success.
Tipperary goalkeeper Brian Hogan netted UCD’s three pointer via the penalty spot.
