Manager Pat Flanagan was full of praise for the Padraig Pearses fans after the Woodmount-based outfit were crowned Roscommon senior football champions for the first time last month.
And they showed what great supporters they are by travelling in large numbers to Ruislip to cheer their team on to a 2-10 to 0-8 victory over Tir Chonaill Gaels in yesterday's Connacht club SFC semi-final. Pearses will need their supporters more than ever when they face back-to-back All-Ireland club champions Corofin in the provincial decider in a fortnight's time.
TweetFair play to the @propearses support at McGovern Park today! They certainly made themselves heard! @RoscommonGAA @officialgaa @ConnachtGAA @hoganstandgaa pic.twitter.com/QjPX4aSd6T
