Templenoe's terrific achievement in supplying four players to the Kerry starting 15 for their drawn Super 8s clash with Donegal hasn't gone unnoticed.

A small rural club in South Kerry, Templenoe were represented at Croke Park yesterday by Tadhg Morley, Gavin Crowley and brothers Adrian and Killian Spillane. Morley and Crowley were at the heart of the Kingdom's defence while sons of Tom and nephews to Pat and Mick, Adrian and Killian both started in attack. A late change prior to throw-in, the younger Spillane, Killian, was particularly impressive and fired over three superb points.

It was a weekend to remember for Templenoe as they also had two players involved with the Kerry junior squad that claimed the All-Ireland title for the fifth year-in-row. Former county minor Stephen O'Sullivan top scored with 1-4 while John Spillane came on a substitute as Galway were beaten in the final at O'Moore Park last Saturday.
