Carlow’s Eoghan Ruth admits that winning games has lifted the mood in the camp to a new level.
For many years, the Barrowsiders struggled in the lower regions of Division Four, while their involvement in the Leinster SFC and qualifiers never lasted too long.
However, a renewed confidence in the side under the managership of Turlough O’Brien has lifted the spirits dramatically and Ruth told the Carlow Nationalist that everyone is a lot happier now.
“Definitely winning makes everything a lot easier. Everyone is happier. The mood lifts. Management and county board are singing off the same hymn-sheet,” said Ruth.
“Last year was brilliant. The year before was brilliant. It is great. There is a real positive vibe doing it.”
