Tyrone boss Mickey Harte says he and his players won't be getting carried away with the wide margin victory scored over Roscommon last weekend.

The Red Hands had 18 points to spare over the Rossies in the inaugural Super 8s clash at Croke Park and now welcome holders Dublin on Saturday evening in a game which Harte has branded an "acid test" for his players.

"It's definitely good to be scoring as much as we are, and again people will measure this on the level of opposition that we're playing," the three-time All-Ireland winning manager told the Irish Independent.

"I'm not being disparaging, but they're not Dublin, and they're not Kerry, and they're not Mayo and they're not the top teams.

"They're teams who are decent teams and take a bit of beating, but that's where we're at, we can't read too much into that. It's how much can we score against Dublin will be the acid test."

Corner-back Cathal McCarron has been ruled out of the Omagh clash through a knee injury while both Lee Brennan and Colm Cavanagh are expected to be fit.
