Following his impressive championship debut against Mayo last weekend, Galway defender Seán Andy Ó Ceallaigh is keeping his feet firmly on the ground.

The new Galway full back went about his duties with consummate ease even though he picked up a yellow card early in the intriguing contest at MacHale Park.

Ó Ceallaigh knew that he would face a stern test last Sunday, and despite being delighted to have come through it, he told the Western People that there were bigger tests ahead.

"That was the test we were looking at and we're delighted to have come out of it. Either way, it was going to be a tough battle for us, but getting through this way should make things easier for us," said Ó Ceallaigh.

"I'm sure there'll be plenty of stuff from the game that the boys will have us working on. So we'll have to go back to the drawing board again."
