With the knockout stages of the All-Ireland senior hurling championship upon us, it has been confirmed that the two semi-finals will once again be played on the same weekend at Croke Park later this month.
All-Ireland, Munster and Allianz League champions Limerick will play the winners of the Kilkenny v Cork/Westmeath quarter-final on Saturday, July 27 at 6pm, with newly-crowned Leinster champions Wexford taking on the winners of Tipperary v Dublin/Laois quarter-final the following day at 3.30pm.
The winners of this weekend's preliminary quarter-finals between Westmeath and Cork and Laois and Dublin will face Munster and Leinster runners-up Kilkenny and Tipperary respectively in the quarter-finals proper on Sunday week in a Croke Park double-header.
The All-Ireland hurling final takes place on Sunday, August 18.
