Tipperary manager Liam Sheedy admits that the short turn around to the All-Ireland SHC quarterfinal is not ideal, but he is confident his charges can regain their momentum.
Heading into last Sunday’s Munster SHC final, Tipp had won their four previous games in the provincial campaign, but they came undone against a hungrier Limerick side.
Now, Sheedy has the task of lifting his charges for the quarterfinal against either Dublin or Laois, but the former All-Ireland winning manager is confident that the players will respond in the right way.
“We only have two weeks to turn it around. There is a very good dressingroom in there. They are hurting right now but for us the healing process begins right now,” Sheedy told the Midland Tribune.
Meanwhile, Cathal Barrett will be fit for the quarterfinal as he was not risked in the Munster final despite returning to full training.
