Tipperary's Dan McCormack and manager Liam Sheedy before the Munster SHC clash with Cork

Tipperary manager Liam Sheedy believes that there is no easy game in the Munster SHC as they prepare to face Waterford at Semple Stadium.

Much had been made of Waterford playing a provincial championship match at Walsh Park, but the result did not go their way as Clare came away with the two points.

The Déise need to bounce back this weekend, but they face a Tipperary side that were exceptional in their win over Cork.

Despite, this renewed confidence and the fact the game is in Thurles, Sheedy told the Tipperary Star that they are getting ready for a fierce battle.

“We just have to roll back again and get ready for next Sunday which is Waterford at Semple Stadium and another massive match for us,” said Sheedy.

“Two points won’t get you anything in the championship and the margins are really tight. It is a phenomenal championship and whatever three teams come out on top in Munster will have earned it.

“One performance won’t get you out. We need to go back, rest our bodies and get ready to go again. There could well be changes on Sunday and changes to the overall panel because it is very competitive in the panel.”
