Dr Crokes (Kerry) 3-15

Moyle Rovers (Tipperary) 0-8

Kieran O'Leary bagged 2-2 as Dr Crokes blitzed 14-man Moyle Rovers in a one-sided Munster club SFC opener at Ardfinnan.

Tony Brosnan (0-7) and Micheál Burns (0-3) also contributed handsomely to the scoring as the Kerry kingpins showed their class to set up a semi-final meeting with St Finbarr's. Moyle Rovers' cause wasn't helped by a straight red card for Shane Foley at the start of the second half and a black card for lively corner forward Liam Boland just before half-time.

The Tipperary champions started strongly with Richard Power and Boland notching early points. But goals from O'Leary in the 10th and 28th minutes left them trailing by 0-5 to 2-8 at the interval.

Crokes introduced Kerry legend Colm Cooper 10 minutes after the restart and it didn't take him long to get on the scoresheet. The home side's misery was complete when sub Michael Potts added a third Crokes goal three minutes from the end.
