The first two provincial club senior football championship finals of 2018 take place on Sunday.

Corofin are bidding to become the first Galway team to complete a three-in-a-row of Connacht club SFC titles. All eyes will be on the All-Ireland champions as they face a stern test against Mayo champions Ballintubber at MacHale Park, live on TG4.

Munster IFC finalists only five years ago, Miltown-Malbay are set to make history by contesting their first provincial SFC decider at the Gaelic Grounds. The West Clare outfit are massive underdogs to beat Dr Crokes who seem hell-bent on reclaiming the O'Connor Cup going by their scoring exploits against St Finbarrs (5-20 they scored, all from play).

It's football all the way in the provincial club championships at senior level. In the Leinster semi-finals, also on Sunday, Kilmacud Crokes will do battle with Portlaoise, while Mullinalaghta and Eire Og prepare to meet on the other side of the draw.

Elsewhere, this weekend, provincial intermediate champions will be crowned in Munster (football) and Connacht (hurling) as Ulster winners Castleblayney travel to Birmingham for their All-Ireland JHC quarter-final tie versus John Mitchels of Warwickshire.
