Dromcollogher/ Broadford had their third win in the West Junior A Football League to book our place in the final against Fr. Casey's, on this coming Friday May 25th, venue and referee to be announced. With the two goals coming from Colin Lordan and the other goals coming from Jason and Marty Stokes and the points came from Colin Lordan 0-4, Marty Stokes (0-2), John Lynch, Kevin McGill, John O'Kelly and Mikey Browne all a point each.

On Tuesday night we played Newcastle in a football challenge. This was a great workout for all our 19 players that turned up on the night. Newcastle had big numbers as well, so we divided our players in to two teams as evenly as we could. It is a pleasure to see these boys improving every week and enjoying themselves. Playing all these games against different teams it will the boys confidence in themselves and they will meet new friends at the end of the day it's all about having fun. U11 notes On Friday night last we played our first hurling match against Feohanagh/Castlemahon. This game was ten aside, our opposition on the night were very strong with most of them were on the age, in our team we only have five on the age. Credit to our boys for working hard through all the game they put in a great second half display. Results of the 293rd draw took place on Monday May 21st, in Corner House, Dromcollogher and the numbers drawn were: 11, 21, 25, 29 there was no winner of the jackpot at €4,100 and there was also was no winner of match three €100 and the two lucky dips of €50 each and they were: John Leahy, Dromcollogher and John and Eillie Cregan, Tullaha, Broadford and the next draw will take place on this coming Monday night May 28th, in Neenan's Bar, Broadford, at 10.15pm sharp, the jackpot going up to €4,200 (win or share) and the match three staying at €100 (win or share). To Limerick Senior Footballers Management Team led by Billy Lee of Newcastle West and the Limerick Footballers led by Donal O'Sullivan of Monaleen and especially our club players Garrett Noonan and Cillian Fahy and County Board Chairman John Cregan against Clare, Limerick were defeated by Clare on a scoreline of 1-23 to 0-14, in the Munster Football Championship Quarter Final.
Non-Stop GAA Club Draw
Dromcollogher/ Broadford GAA club are holding our annual 300 Club draw in June July and August. Draw will take place on the second Sunday of each month. €1,000 in prizes each month. It's €20 a month or 3 draws for €50. Promoters will be out selling over the next few weeks. Your support would be very much appreciated.

Tickets for Muster Hurling Championship are now available in Meaney's Centra, Dromcollogher, this weekends fixture Clare VS Waterford, in Cusack Park, Ennis at 3.30pm and Cork VS Tipperary, in Semple Stadium, Thurles, at 2pm, both games on this coming Sunday May 27th, tickets are priced at pre-purchase adult stand €20, pre-purchase adult terrace €15, Juvenile all areas €5, match day Adult Stand, €25, Match day adult €20.
