Roscommon’s Paddy Neilan has been appointed as the match referee for next Sunday week’s Ulster SFC preliminary round derby between Tyrone and Derry.

The Red Hands welcome the Division 4 champions on May 12th and it has confirmed today that Neilan will oversee the Healy Park encounter.

The Rossie official was in charge last June when Tyrone defeated Meath in a controversial Round 1 qualifier which Mickey Harte’s men won after extra time in Navan.
