24 hours after getting married, Roscommon’s Fintan Cregg was back in action today.
The Rossies star tied the knot with fiance Emma O’Dowd yesterday but took time out from the celebrations to line out for Elphin in their Roscommon SFC clash with St Faithleach’s today.
Unfortunately, from his point of view, his team finished up on the wrong end of the 0-8 to 0-11 scoreline in Orchard Park.
Break in play here as the groom gets a bang on the noggin. Gets up and puts the shoulders back in trademark fashion, the show will go on. It remains 0-04 0-03z #RosGAA

Meanwhile, today it was the turn of Cregg’s inter-county team-mate Conor Devaney to say: ‘I do’ as the county captain married Miriam Cuddy.
The All-Star nominee’s club, Kilbride, are due to face St Brigid’s in the intermediate championship at Kiltoom this evening.
It remains to be seen if he togs out!
Best of luck to our senior team Captain Conor Devaney who gets married today. This is what his match day prep looks like, imagine what the wedding day prep was like!! #bestofluck #rosgaa https://t.co/0Zb23UXOwi
