Liam Hogan has been appointed manager of Offaly hurling champions Coolderry for the rest of the season.

The former Ballyboden St Enda’s boss takes over the reins of his native club after Joachim Kelly stepped down following an indifferent season thus far. Kelly took temporary charge of the Offaly senior hurlers after replacing Kevin Martin at the end of May, but couldn’t save them from relegation to the Christy Ring Cup.
