Football Championship.

Ballycumber will play their first game in this year’s Tullamore Court Hotel Offaly Senior B Football Championship when they meet Erin Rovers in Doon on Sunday next at 1pm. All support is much appreciated.

Hurling.

Congratulations to Brosna Gaels who defeated Shinrone by 2—18 to 1—16 in the Molloy Environmental Systems Offaly Intermediate Hurling Championship in Crinkle on Sunday and maintain their position of third on the table.

Match in pitch.

Ballycumber GAA Club welcomes Shannonbridge and Clonbullogue GAA Clubs to our pitch on Saturday evening next at 6.30 in the Tullamore Court Hotel Offaly Intermediate Football Championship. All members are asked to attend at 6 o’clock to help with staging this fixture. Please note the earlier throw in time of 6.30pm.

Ballycumber Dance Classses.

Learn how to Jive, Waltz, Quickstep, Foxtrot and Line dance. Dance Classes every Monday night from 8pm in Ballycumber Community Centre.  Beginners class 8 - 9, Improvers from 9 - 10 and dancing for all from 10 - 11pm.  Great exercise and good fun, no partners required.

Lotto.

The numbers drawn this week were 13,16,24,28.  No jackpot or match three winners.350 euros added to jackpot. History.

Ballycumber History Group is continuing with their research of the eighty men and women from the Ballycumber area who fought in World War 1. There are a few soldiers that information is difficult to find about them. If anyone has any information on Joe Egan who was attached to the East Lancashire Regiment and P. King of the Irish Guards and William Rosney of the Royal Dublin Fusiliers, please pass it on to any member of the Group.
