Senior B Hurling Championship Semi Final

Clodiagh Gaels vs Ballinamere is on Sunday 23rd of September at 2pm in O’Connor Park. We would appreciate if everyone could attend to shout on the lads in this big game.

Junior A Football Championship Quarter Final

Clodiagh Gaels 5-17 Edenderry 1-5.

Clodiagh Gaels put themselves into the junior championship semi final with an emphatic win over Edenderry. The Gaels were relentless throughout the game turning defence into attack at every opportunity. Goals in the first half through Liam Langton, David Buckley and Gavin Sheil paved the way for a big lead at half time. Points from Shane Dolan, David Buckley and Liam Langton kept the Gaels on top in the first half going in 3-5 to 1-0 up at the break. The Clodiagh Gaels men continued where they left off in the second half with a number of points from Shane Dolan and David Buckley before Buckley stuck the ball in the Edenderry net after good build up play. Buckley and Dolan continued to cause havoc up front putting points on the board at every chance. Nigel Cunningham and Peter Berry found their way up the field to get in on the act before substitute Gus O’Brien found the net late to top off a dominant display for the Gaels.
