Senior B Hurling Championship Round 4

Clodiagh Gaels 3-19 Ballinamere 3-19. What a game this was. Cathal Brady and Conor Langton hit first half goals for the Gaels but they were cancelled out each time by Ballinamere. There was nothing between the sides as the score line suggests but the minutes into the second half we went 9 points up with points from Dwayne Dunne and Liam Langton and then Gavin Shiel picked a ball from the clouds and drove it to the net. It was all Ballinamere from then on as they kept the scoreboard ticking over. With minutes remaining Ciaran Burke got on the end of a losose ball to fire home a goal for Ballinamere to level the game. Ballinamere then went a point up with seconds left. From the resulting puckout we won a free on the sideline and the ever-cool Dwayne Dunne slotted it over despite verbals from the terrace. Well done to both sides on a cracking game of hurling.
