FIXTURES

It’s back to the more serious business of the Shoe City senior, Monaghan Electric intermediate and Euro Tech Junior football league this weekend with the games being staged on Friday.

SFL

In the Shoe City senior football league, Clontibret are at home against Carrickmacross, Latton travel to Scotstown, Currin play hosts to Doohamlet, Castleblayney are away at Ballybay and Inniskeen have the longest journey when they travel to Truagh, with all those games timed for 8 PM.

IFL

In the Monaghan Electric intermediate football league, Emyvale are at home against Magheracloone, Donaghmoyne are away at Monaghan Harps, Aughnamullen have home advantage against Killanny and Corduff travel to Tyholland, again all for 8.00 PM.

JFL

In the Euro Tech Junior football league Toome have home advantage against Clones, Drumhowan are away at Aghabog, Killeevan have a home game against Eire Og, with the venue to be confirmed, Rockcorry travel to Blackhill and Oram are at home against Scotstown.

RFL

There is one game tomorrow night Friday, July 12th in the reserve football league division three, that sees Sean McDermotts at home against Clontibret, with two games on Sunday, one in division 1A that sees Magheracloone at home against Truagh and a game in division 2A where Carrickmacross are away at Eire Og. Moving to Wednesday next in the reserve football league division 1A, Clontibret are at home against Magheracloone, Donaghmoyne are away at Castleblayney and Scotstown play hosts to Truagh. In division 1B Emyvale are at home against Latton, Killanny are away at Monaghan Harps and Aughnamullen are at home against Ballybay. In division 2A Sean McDermotts are at home against Cremartin and Carrickmacross are away at Drumhowan, while in division 2B Inniskeen are at home against Corduff and Aghabog travel to Blackhill. Those games on Wednesday evening are all timed for 8.00 PM.

U17 FL

There are two games on Tuesday next in the under seventeen football league division one, Donaghmoyne are at home against Latton and Carrickmacross are away at Monaghan Harps, both games at 7.00 PM.

HURLING

In round two of the senior hurling championship Castleblayney HC had a comfortable away win at Clontibret and Truagh defeated Inniskeen in a very low scoring affair, the Gaels winning by 0-9 to 0-7. Round three sees Carrickmacross HC at home against Inniskeen and Clontibret away at Truagh, both those games at 8.00 PM tonight, Thursday, July 11th.
